I started Teens Matter Counseling in 2015 to pursue my passion for working with teenagers. I believe empowerment can be found when teens gain self awareness and develop confidence through the many trials they face. So often, the heart of teens is misunderstood. My goal as a therapist is to engage and understand the heart of your teenager. I would be delighted to journey with your teen to help discover the root of their challenges and rejoice with them through the healing and restoration process.

I enjoy working with college aged students and young adults as I feel it is a critical time of life transition and personal development, which can be filled with confusion, lonliness, anxiety, and pain. I journey through this transition from teen years to early adulthood with many of my clients. 

Although your teen may appear to look like an adult and you want them to start acting like one, there are situations in which they are psychologically incapable of understanding a parents guidance or motive. I will help you navigate the confusion and misunderstandings to gain a better perspective of where your teenagers actions stem from.​​
